There are so many thoughts swirling in my sub-conscious mind. But none automatically de-gravitating to be a comprehensible subject of attention itself. But i nonetheless feel like blogging. I know something meaningful will comeup as I continue to dabble around.
There were hazaar syndromes the Babur Syndrome, the TN Seshan Syndrome...and then the Arrived Syndrome...which has already been introduced in the earlier blog...well it would be too tongue in cheek...so probably I wont write it, till I think of an elegant way of presenting it.
The Babur Syndrome....is simply...how to do effective posturing, using limited resources...how a small company behaves like a big company....how one covers ones weakness by projecting well something, someone else really appreciates...so that he or she doesnt really feel the need to check upon the key thing....Thats the way Babur, pysched out Ibrahim Lodhi in the First Battle of Panipat...or thas what the history books and Amar Chirta Kathas have put it and helped stick around for so long.
The TN Seshan Syndrome....is a bit more queer.....and could honestly be a misnomer, because of ignorance or mis-inpterpreted facts. But I guess the intending meaning is interesting for a read..its like this.....if you wanna change a system, one has to be in it long enough...to get into a position to strength..to be able to change it....you want to change an organization...as an example...you have to profess values akin to the values you want to change..till the system propels you to the top...and then you change it...
What I understand, is Mr. TN Seshan, was as obsequeious as any other senior or successul bureaucrats knowtowing Mrs. Gandhi....thats was a sine-qua-non for him to keep getting his plum postings....but one fine day...when he got to head an autonomous commission..and with Mrs. Gandhi not around....he arm twisted all and sundry...incl the Gandhi ilk...well thas the trigger for the christening..
I want add a caveat here....it is quite possible my facts and presentation of Mr. Seshan could we way off the mark....it could possibly be more perception than substance...and if someone wants to challenge me for a fight..I ll be the first to throw in the towel..:)....but what is relvant is the thought..of fighting thru the system...till you fight to dismantle it.....the only catch here is...the person how wants to change a system...should not get overwhelmed by it...by that time he or she gets an opportunity to change it....happens everywhere..thousands of examples..in politics, corporates, leadership etc etc....
Should we talk about the Arrived Syndrome..here.....or should we call it the Lost Time Syndrome....its like this....a guy [or better a lass]...has just stepped out of home...out of protection...or the purview of the big brother....now come out and cover up for lost time....have nothing less than 6 large pegs per session.....as an example...be the enfant terrible....with self...as if thats the cornerstone of self emanicipation.......or maybe warding the off the ghost of the bad guys in school...who always seemed to have the better share of good things in school.....maybe in terms of women and wine ;)...this is one topic....I can ramble round for sometime...without ruffling any feathers....sometime, somewhere..hopefully later...
Cheers!
